Security of your Data
We, at XMWeb, appreciate how crucial the security of our
customer's data is, that's why security is our number one concern.
XMWeb utilises “state of the art” security to ensure that
our customer's client data is never compromised. We are continually
dedicating resources to improving the security of XMWeb itself and
the hosting infrastructure it resides upon.
With XMWeb our customers enjoy peace of mind that only our world-class
security infrastructure can provide.
XMWeb's security includes (and is not limited to):
- Physical security at out hosting site
- Multiple firewalls
- Proactive analysis and testing of existing security
- Customers of XMWeb can choose to encrypt their data stored
in our databases
- 128 bit SSL encryption of data transmitted between XMWeb and
our customers
- User authentication (user id and password required)
- Application security to test that users have the required access
to the data they are viewing. This is tested every time a request
for data is received
- Segregation of customers data, ensuring that customers of XMWeb
can not access another customers data
- Strong passwords are used where possible and knowledge of passwords
are restricted to a few senior staff members only
- Access to operating system and databases require knowledge
of seperate, strong passwords
