Implementation
Our primary focus when implementing XMWeb is to ensure user adoption. “XMWeb Professional
Services” have extensive implementation experience within the financial services industry to
ensure implementation success.
The implementation of XMWeb can take from 2 weeks to 4 months depending on the level of customisation
and development required.
There are five phases to a successful implementation of the XMWeb solution:
- 1. The Vision - The indentification of requirements. By using the vast financial
services industry experience of “XMWeb Professional Services” in conjunction with
our customers intimate knowledge of their business we are able to identify enhancements to
their current processes through the implementation of XMWeb.
- 2. Planning - The identification of the time frame for implementation. This phase ensures
an achievable implementation plan and, where applicable, providing a detailed cost breakdown.
- 3. Customisation and Development - As XMWeb is a modular system, it is very easy to
introduce new functionality as well as customising existing functionality. This phase incorporates
the customisation of XMWeb, the development of bespoke functionality and the introduction of
workflow business rules specific to the customers needs (this information is captured during phase 1).
- 4. User Adoption - XMWeb can be hosted by the customer or on our secure infrastructure.
This phase incorporates the deployment of XMWeb (in the case of an internally hosted solution), testing
of the work completed during phase 3 and user training.
- 5. Successful Implementation - The fifth stage is centred on the stabilisation of XMWeb,
continued uptake amongst the user community and additional refinements to XMWeb. “XMWeb Professional
Services” have learnt that the requirements documented in phase 1 do tend to change by the conclusion of
phase 4 especially once users start to use XMWeb on a daily basis, accordingly we use this phase to
allow the user community to request additional refinements to XMWeb to improve their experience in using
XMWeb and to improve user adoption. Once XMWeb is accepted we also introduce the Administrative training
for XMWeb, we introduce this training separately to the training in phase 4 to allow the user community
with sufficient time to develop a sufficient level of comfort and understanding with XMWeb.
